I was delighted this year to, for a second time, receive first prize in this award run by The Kensington Dollshouse Festival. In collaboration with Masters Miniatures, who made the beautiful Edwardian, pear wood Piano stool, i stitched a highly detailed design on 84count silk gauze. I based the design around two musical instrument playing cherubs. It was my first attempt at stitching on 84 count gauze and i must admit it was a highly testing experience. Maybe i need stronger magnification, if i am to attempt it again!
I have now adapted the design to produce a ‘Wall Hanging’ kit on 40hpi (count) gauze (see below). This design is now available!
