Based on my PIMA award winning design, this 16th Century Wall Hanging was based on a set of ten tapestries, all recounting stories from the ‘Acts of the Apostles’. They were woven in the finest workshop of the day, that of Pieter van Aeist’, in Brussels. They were completed by the 1530’s. Some are now on display in the Vatican museum, which is where I saw them on a trip to Rome in 2018.
